Mr. Michael T.H. Yang graduated from the Biology Department of National Taiwan Normal University, and then obtained his L.L. M. degree from the Law School of Soochow University and his M.B.A. degrees from both the Graduate Institute of Intellectual Property of National Chengchi University and the College of Management of National Taiwan University. Mr. Yang also acquired a L.L. M. degree from the George Washington University (Washington D.C.) and became a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Mr. Yang used to be a judge for ten years. He is very experienced in civil litigation as well as criminal litigation and civil compulsory enforcement proceedings. Since he joined Lee and Li in 2008, Mr. Yang has acted as lead council in many high profile civil lawsuits and acted as defense lawyer in many famous criminal lawsuits in Taiwan. He also has assisted many clients in establishing their whistle blower systems, conducting fraud examinations, and successfully taking legal actions against his clients' inside fraudsters and their competitors. In addition, Mr. Yang has helped many clients to prepare their prenuptial agreements and wills etc. to make adequate arrangement for their family affairs. He also has represented many clients to resolve disputes related to estate distribution and other family law issues.
